I grew up in Southern California and married the love of my life, Brett in 1993. We have two adult sons, and are now officially empty nesters. We moved to Colorado in 2004 for adventure and a different way of life, and this beautiful state has not disappointed.
I was a stay at home mom, but when our youngest went into first grade I began substitute teaching to keep busy, but still have the flexibility I needed with two little boys. I still substitute, but now my focus has changed. Traveling, volunteering and spending quality time with family and friends are my priorities. I love to read, hike, bike, snowboard, play games, and garden. And laugh. I love to laugh!
At this stage in my life, I want to experience as much of this beautiful planet as possible and I hope to inspire other people to try new things as well. Please read my first post here for a more in depth explanation of why I’ve decided to do this blog. If you have any recommendations, I’d love to hear them!
